During final year, students will be assigned into groups for Project Proposal and its implementation of Final Year Project work (FYP).
The implementation will start with Project Proposal (FYP-1), where the students need to propose a plastic product that can be produced by injection moulding process. The MOT-FYP panels will be responsible in selecting the suitable and appropriate plastic product for the FYP. Upon approval, the students need to redesign the plastic product, produce detailed and assembly design of mould, scheduling, process plans, budgeting and report writing. Finally, the students need to present their proposal during internal presentation as part of FYP’s assessment criteria.
